Cultivating a regional food culture

Established in 1855, we have been single-family owned for five generations. We produce fresh vegetables, fruits, greens, herbs, whole and milled grains, and honey. Up till 2020 we were primarily a wholesaler to local restaurants and delis. In 2020 COVID forced us to make changes quickly. We moved to a mainly retail format. We went through many changes that year. As COVID restrictions eased our customer base changed and we began to reduce our retail foot print with a focus on perennial fruit crops and botanics for alcohol production via our sister company, Lost Bridge Beverage Co. . We continue to retail food but with a focus on locally produced, grab and go items such as honey, cheese and cured meats, pickled items, chips, cookies, and chocolate. We continue to sell fresh produce grown on the farm. You can eat at the patio, take your meal to picnic at several locations around the property, or carry out. In 2023 we will be adding more outdoor space that is open to the public, including more hiking trails, and river access to paddlers.

Carriage house farm market

Enjoy a unique small farm market experience with an eclectic selection eggs, produce, honey, jam, the region’s best cheese and cured meat, chips, salsas, maple syrup, pickles and ferments, a small selection of frozen meats, and unique cold beverages. All sourced from the farm or within the Ohio River Valley.

The Lost Bridge Beverage Co.

Named after the bridge located across the road, the Lost Bridge Beverage Co. is a developing business located at Carriage House Farm that features local beers, craft cocktails with on-farm ingredients, wine, hard cider, vodka seltzers, and craft sodas. This family friendly environment is a great way to enjoy an evening with friends. Their hours of operation are Thursday thru Saturday, Noon till 10 PM and Sunday Noon till 6 PM. You can call them or the market at (513) 467-0096. This year, 2023, you will see quite a few releases of bottled liquor available for sale at the tasting room.

CHloe’s On-farm Eatery

Chloe's Eatery is a food truck located behind our barn and has a menu that focuses on American standards: sandwiches, tacos, wraps, and burgers. There are options for vegetarians and the menu sees seasonal changes based on what is available from Carriage House Farm. Enjoy out door dining on the terrace or picnic at our remote sites over looking our outdoor event space, gardens, and fields. Orders can be placed by calling (859) 818-5100 or on-line prior to arrival or for curbside pick-up. Hours are from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday and Friday, 11:30 AM to 8 PM Saturday, and 11:30 to 6PM Sundays.
